Youth Employment

Youth Build Assists individual youth to acquire job trining and placement into the construction fields. Visit www.quadarea.org/youthbuild for more information and an application.

Senior Employment

Silver Force Assists older individuals (55+) with training and job placement. Visit http://silverforce.org for more information.

Education

Adult Education Raise literacy and education level which would allow clients to enter workforce.
Head Start Provides children 3-5 years old in East Feliciana parish the opportunity to attend a Child Development Program. This program provides Education, Health, Nutrition and Social Services. The children are provided initial experiences and success which promote the child's confidence, self-respect and positive self-image.

Emergency

Energy Assistance Program is designed to assist eligible families with their utility bills.
EF&S Provides assistance to eligible families in the areas of rent, utilities and food in West Feliciana Parish.

Veterans Services

Transitional Housing for Veterans (GPD) Veterans are provided transitional housing to become self-sufficient and gain meaningful employment. Visit http://quadvets.org for more information.

Housing

Weatherization Program designed to improve thermal energy efficiency and weather-proofing of customers' homes by insulation and energy efficient windows, doors, etc.
Community Housing Development Provides affordable and standard housing in Livingston, Tangipahoa and East Feliciana parishes, 42, 48 & 40 units, respectively, under the Louisiana Finance Housing Authority guidelines.

Health

Medicaid Agency will enroll eligible customers by taking application for medical benefits.
STEP Program Agency provides transportation for eligible customers to medical appointments in East Feliciana parish when referred by Department of Social Services.

Linkage

Foster Grandparents Provides low-income persons 60 years of age and older with meaningful part-time employment to help special children. See the Foster Grandparents page for more information.
