Quad Area continues to wage war on poverty by protecting and improving the quality of lives of the low income through services of education, training advocacy and recreation, with planning that includes input from and respect for the poor... and having fun at the same time.


Our values are to honor people, especially the vulnerable and the weak, to empower the poor to take control of their own lives, to take action in eliminating poverty, and to be mindful of the plight of the impoverished.

YouthBuild (Ages 16-24)

Quad YouthBuild is a comprehensive 7-month pre-apprenticeship, job training, education, and leadership development program for out-of-school and unemployed young adults ages 16 to 24.



Quad Weatherization

Program designed to improve thermal energy efficiency and weather-proofing of customers' homes by insulation and energy efficient windows, doors, etc. These services are provided in

19 parishes.



Quad LiHEAP - Energy Assistance

Quad Area’s Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program (LIHEAP) is a federally funded program that helps low income households with their home energy bills in the following Parishes: Ascension, East Feliciana, Livingston, St. Helena, Tangipahoa, Washington and West Feliciana.



Head Start

Provides children 3-5 years old in East Feliciana parish the opportunity to attend a Child Development Program. This program provides Education, Health, Nutrition and Social Services. The children are provided initial experiences and success which promote the child's confidence, self-respect and positive self-image. Contact Your local office for program availability.



Foster Grandparents

Provides low-income persons 55 years of age and older with meaningful part-time employment to help special children. Contact Your local office for program availability.




EF&S

Provides assistance to eligible families in the areas of rent, utilities and food in West Feliciana Parish. Limited services are available in other parishes. Contact Your local office for availability.



Medicaid

Agency will enroll eligible customers by taking application for medical benefits. Contact Your Local Office for availability.
